Érudit recently became aware of this interesting funding opportunity for the digitization of heritage documents: https://nhds.ca/digitizing-canadian-collections-funding-call-apply-now/
Driven by the National Heritage Digitization Strategy (NHDS) Steering Committee, this initiative aims to “make accessible and preserve documentary heritage material of national significance.”
The total amount of funding available per project is $100 000. The deadline to apply is June 12th 2018.
To find out more about application requirements, please read the funding guidelines here: https://nhds.ca/digitizing-canadian-collections/
We strongly encourage journals to submit a digitization project for their past issues and we are gladly available to discuss this with anyone interested in collaborating with Érudit (edition@erudit.org).
